The high quality sound is due to a couple of technical advances.

First, microfiber material has been used to form the diaphragm, so that it faithfully reproduces the sonic details and delicate reverberations that occur in concert halls. The size of Microfiber is approximately 1/100 of natural cellulose used in ordinary diaphragms.

Second, optimum acoustic characteristics are achieved by adjusting the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm, with Denon’s Acoustic Optimizer design.
